Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Gem Laser Express, Inc. in Dulles, VA.

About the Role:

  • Purchase all OEM and remanufactured products for Drop Ship orders and stock.
  • Respond to customer service inquiries regarding order status and inventory availability.
  • Receive drop ship items into stock in e-automatic.
  • Verify customers received drop ship product.
  • Independently evaluate and prioritize products to order based on customer needs.
  • Process returns of defective products and unused products.
  • Monitor back order status of all items on a daily basis.
  • Assist inventory reconciliation every quarter as needed.
  • Maintain inventory computer system.
  • Provide phone support for customer service (new orders, service calls, etc.).
  • Verify margins are achieved with assistance from GM and Sales Mgr.
  • Establish minimum warehouse levels on high moving SKUs.
  • Work together with supervisor regarding purchasing issues.

Requirements:

  • Lives within a 15-mile radius of Dulles, VA.

Gem Laser Express, Inc. has a large customer base and many of our customers have been with us for years. We are a small business with a family atmosphere. Most of our employees have been with us for at least 10 years, and some are working towards their 20-year mark.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
