Job Summary

We are looking for high-quality caregivers with a minimum of 1 year's experience to provide companionship and support to our clients. As a caregiver with Griswold Home Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and conversational engagement with clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Remind clients of medication and appointments
  • Assist with grooming and bathing
  • Support clients with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Provide care for clients with Alzheimer's and dementia
  • Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Transport clients to appointments and run errands
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Requirements

  • Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking, and companion services
  • 1+ years of experience caring for elderly individuals
  • Able to pass a national background check
  • A minimum of 5 recent references (2 personal and 3 professional)
  • Cleared Fitness to Work or TB test
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
