Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure the quality and reliability of our products at various stages of the production process.

This is a full-time position located in Lancaster, PA. The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience. Occasional mandatory overtime with a 5 AM start time may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Reads & interprets engineering drawings/blueprint reading, schematic diagrams, bills of material and other documentation needed to perform inspections.
  • Inspects boilers, sub-assemblies, kitted cartons, machine castings, and other components.
  • Quarantines nonconforming product and writes nonconformance reports. Processes NC material per manager's requests.
  • Assists with testing of components or completed boilers.
  • Assists with programming of controls.
  • Uses various measuring equipment such as calipers, bore gauges, and thread gauges.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2+ years of quality inspection experience preferred. ASME experience and/or boiler experience a plus.
  • Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Computer Skills: knowledge of database software; manufacturing software and word processing software. Basic Microsoft Word & Excel knowledge.
