We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support elementary students with speech and language needs in a near Bay City, Texas location.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials.
- Monitor and document student progress toward individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Provide support in classroom activities and collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate records and follow all school and district policies.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid Texas SLPA license.
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP.
