SGA Talent is a hospitality-focused staffing group dedicated to connecting talented individuals with exciting opportunities in the service industry. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our client's facilities.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' properties are well-maintained, safe, and functional. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including routine cleaning, minor repairs, and assisting with the upkeep of various systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, events, and company functions.
  • Monitor and restock supplies in various areas, including restrooms and breakrooms.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
  • Assist in basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs.
  • Support facility security by ensuring all doors and windows are properly secured at the end of each workday.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or related roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Reliable and punctual.
