Northwell Health is seeking a highly motivated and organized Support Services Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will provide diversified clerical support related to the operational needs of the office/department, performing tasks such as:

  • Typing correspondence, reports, and articles;
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings;
  • Maintaining files and records;
  • Collecting payments;
  • Keeping inventory and ordering supplies.

You will work closely with other team members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diversified clerical duties, including but not limited to:
    • Typing various correspondence, reports, articles;
    • Greeting and directing visitors;
    • Answering telephones, taking messages, directing intercom pages;
    • Scheduling appointments/meetings;
    • Maintaining department/office files, record keeping, patient record filing;
    • Taking meeting minutes;
    • Collecting payments;
    • Keeping inventory and ordering supplies for the department/office;

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required;
  • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish).
