Curriculum Development and RevisionYou will play a key role in planning and organizing instructional materials to meet course objectives, participating in curriculum development and revision that stress innovation and multi-cultural emphasis, and contributing to departmental recruiting and retention activities.
Collaboration and ServiceAs a Faculty member, you will participate in a variety of departmental, campus, and college-wide programs, activities, and committees, and serve as a resource person for adjunct faculty. You will also teach day, evening, and weekend classes as needed.
Requirements- A Master's degree in one of the Biological Sciences or a related field.
- Familiarity with collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments.
