Our Unit Culture

We foster a highly team-oriented culture, where every member feels valued and supported. Our nighttime nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:6, ensuring adequate attention to each patient's needs. Our Clinical Nurse Coordinators are available to provide guidance and support, with a maximum patient load to ensure unit support.

Our team is bolstered by Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure patient comfort and safety.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical-Surgical Observation unit, you will provide leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.

You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
  • One year of nursing experience
