Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and assessing monitoring of patients in the Cardiac Catherization Lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardiac catherization lab procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures.
  • Assist MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, structural heart (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases, and neuro.
  • Adhere to on call policy requirements.
  • Execute special assignment with the lab.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and inventory control.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.
Certifications and Licenses Required
  • Current RCIS certification or RAD license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Certified/Licensed CVT or RT in NJ.
