Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in the cardiovascular lab setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing personalized care plans for patients, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with physicians (Cardiologists/Radiologists) to assist in various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
2. Scrub procedures and monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during cardiac interventions.
3. Ensure the procedure room is well-prepared and stocked with necessary instruments and supplies.
4. Participate in departmental meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and training for new staff members.
5. Support both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Preferred experience as a Registered Nurse in a cardiovascular setting.
- Strong interpersonal and patient care skills.
- Valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certification required.
- Experience in Cath Lab nursing is highly desirable.
- Availability for on-call duties.
- Certification in ACLS and BLS is mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
1. ARRT-R certification or equivalent required by state regulations.
2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
3. Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with a focus on invasive cardiology is advantageous.
4. Proficient computer skills are essential.
