Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Host/Maitre d' to join our team. This role offers a comprehensive package, including a competitive hourly rate, paid sick time, commuter benefits, referral bonus programs, and dining discounts at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a unique dining experience for all patrons.
  • Manage seating, reservations, and table assignments with ease and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the kitchen, servers, and other staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date on menu offerings, wine lists, and other relevant information to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including inventory management and cash handling.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in fine dining, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and personable demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Passion for great food and service, with a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
  • Evening and weekend availability, with a flexible schedule.
