Position Overview: We are seeking a SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our diverse Public Works initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for a range of civil engineering projects.
- Utilize technical expertise to develop PS&E for transportation projects, including roadway enhancements, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic calculations, as well as earthwork analyses.
- Create detailed designs and plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Draft project specifications in accordance with industry standards.
- Compile itemized construction quantities and cost estimates using Excel.
- Review and verify designs produced by team members.
- Ensure that all plan check corrections are properly addressed.
- Facilitate effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies.
- Assist project managers in budget management, scheduling, and scope development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in Public Works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong skills in Civil 3D.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering codes and the ability to communicate these effectively.
