Rural Mutual Insurance Sales Professional

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team at Rural Mutual Insurance. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance policies or adjust existing ones. You will also be responsible for contacting potential clients and creating rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance policies or adjust existing ones
* Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
* Appraise the needs of the business or individual customers and sell suitable protection plans
* Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews
* Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
* Keep sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report the progress of marketing and sales efforts
Qualifications:
* Skilled at networking and committed to the community in which you work
* High level of integrity with a track record of showing consistency between words and action
* Experience in delivering customer-centered solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
* Excellent skills in communication: listening and presenting
* Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving financial success
* Licensed in property, casualty, and life insurance—or committed to obtaining licenses within 60 days of being hired
