About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Moving Specialist to join our team at Star Movers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our customers' belongings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and Reassemble Furniture and Appliances
  • Load and Unload Large Items to and from Box Trucks
  • Pack Smaller Items into Boxes, Taking Care to Protect Fragile Goods
  • Drive Trucks to and from Delivery Locations
  • Unpack Items and Arrange New Spaces for Use According to Customer Specification
  • Maintain Vehicle Equipment; Replace Oil, Fill Gas Tank, Perform General Motor Vehicle Maintenance as Needed for Safety
  • Follow All State and National Safety Regulations and Standards
Requirements and Qualifications
  • The Physical Ability to Lift and Move Heavy Objects Throughout a Normal Workday
  • Reliable and Punctual with Dedicated Professionalism to Job and Duties
  • A Positive, Collaborative Attitude and Professional Demeanor
  • Clean MVR
  • Demonstrate Safe Driving Practices
  • Able to Adapt to Changing Schedules or Routine
  • Reliable Transportation to Go to Work
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
  • Prior Moving Experience (at Least 1 Year)
  • Able to Work Night, Weekends, and Holidays as Needed
  • Bilingualism a Plus
  • A High School Diploma or GED Certificate (Preferred but Totally Not Required)
