Join Star Movers as a Full-Time Mover and Driver

About the Job:

As a Mover and Driver with Star Movers, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering customer goods. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload large items to and from box trucks
  • Efficiently pack smaller items into boxes, taking care to protect fragile goods
  • Drive trucks to and from delivery locations
  • Unpack items and arrange new spaces for use according to customer specification
  • Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
  • Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout a normal workday
  • Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and professional demeanor
  • Clean MVR
  • Demonstrate safe driving practices
  • Able to adapt to changing schedules or routine
  • Reliable transportation to go to work
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Prior moving experience (at least 1 year)
  • Able to work night, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Bilingualism a plus
  • A high school diploma or GED certificate (preferred but totally not required)

Benefits:
  • Flexible schedule
  • Competitive pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Full employee benefits (W2) with Workers Compensation
