Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Excavation Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy, motorized equipment used in earthmoving operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain heavy, motorized equipment used in earthmoving operations
  • Excavate soil and other materials from job sites into trucks for transportation
  • Grade and compact land surfaces using heavy, motorized construction equipment
  • Read and comply with safety plans, rules, and maintenance instructions
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience (Operator 1)
  • 5+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience (Operator 2)
  • 2+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience (Operator 3)
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of the company
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER training
  • Competent Person Safety Training
  • 8-Hour Supervisory Training
  • 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
  • First Aid and CPR
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a job site environment, including machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dust, fumes, noise, and other hazards. The ability to work in inclement weather conditions and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties is required.
