Job Summary

The Parish of Caddo is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Technician I FT to join our team. As an Environmental Services Technician I FT, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping and Cleaning
    • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, polishing, and stripping floors, dusting and polishing furniture, washing windows, walls, woodwork, and restroom fixtures.
    • Move equipment, empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and other receptacles, and sweep and clean walks and driveways.
  • Supply Management
    • Distribute and replenish supplies such as paper products and cleaning solutions.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise the work of a crew of inmates in the area of housekeeping at the Caddo Correctional Center.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Some experience in housekeeping is preferred.
    • Interpersonal skills.
    • Valid Driver's License required for Environmental Services Technicians assigned to the Supply Room.
  • Physical Demands
