Position Overview:

The YMCA of South Florida is seeking a highly motivated Program Director to join its team. This role will be responsible for leading the organization's youth development programs, working closely with community partners, and ensuring the success and effectiveness of these initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program retention and growth strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with school principals and representatives
  • Assist with the development and implementation of program quality standards
  • Monitor and control daily/weekly nutrition counts and maintain accounts receivable below 3%
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field
  • Minimum two years of experience managing youth development programs and three years of experience working directly with youth in organized out-of-school-time settings
  • Experience working with budgets, developing a budget, fiscal management of programs, and fundraising
  • Florida Directors Credential preferred or must obtain Director's Credential within 18 months of employment
