Job Overview:
Virtua is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Tech to join our team. This role involves assisting patients with daily living activities and supporting the healthcare team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or LPN.

About the Position:
This is a part-time opportunity requiring 12 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
• Support patients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility assistance
• Perform tasks as directed by RN/LPN, such as vital sign collection and point of care testing
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Provide education to patients and families regarding individual care needs and safety issues
• Contribute to Virtua's patient satisfaction initiatives and goals

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a PCT course or equivalent experience in patient care
• BLS certification required for employment
• Phlebotomy training/education necessary for Emergency Department roles

Salary and Benefits:
