Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in the Scala programming language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Expertise in Spark, particularly in the development and enhancement of Spark applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in Spark.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and data structures for effective data processing.
  • Understanding of database principles and SQL; knowledge of Java and Snowflake is advantageous.
  • Experience with test-driven development practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Databricks is an asset.
  • Awareness of DevOps methodologies is a plus.
