Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Director to join our team at Child Care Resources Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our site, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation and administration of programs, services, and activities for drop-in members and visitors.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, staff, teachers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and information as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide clerical and administrative support to the Area Director, including preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining schedules and calendars, and managing electronic and hard copy files.
  • Site Operations: Manage the site's operations, including supervising and evaluating activities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support site staff, including providing guidance and role modeling to members, and ensuring that staff are equipped to deliver high-quality programs and services.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare and submit regular reports and evaluations, including activity reports and attendance data, to ensure that the site is meeting its goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: College degree or equivalent with a focus on childcare or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or youth development setting.
  • Certifications: Mandatory CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a valid State Driver's License.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
