Job OverviewThe ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of the legal system. You will be responsible for reviewing police reports, conducting investigations, and drafting legal documents.
Salary and BenefitsThis hourly, non-exempt position comes with a competitive salary range of $37.97 - $60.09 per hour, based on equivalent experience and internal equity. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan contributions, and paid time off, Klamath County also offers up to 12 weeks of fully employer-paid leave per benefit year for qualifying events.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the Oregon Bar are required.
- Experience in prosecuting criminal offenses, including DUII and misdemeanor assaults, thefts, etc., and felony cases, is highly desirable.
- Current driver's license and juris doctor degree are also necessary.
