Klamath County is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy District Attorney I, II, or III. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, from misdemeanors to felonies, and contribute to the pursuit of justice in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review police reports and conduct investigations to determine the facts of each case.
  2. Draft legal documents, such as motions, orders, memoranda, diversion agreements, and search and arrest warrants, with supporting affidavits.
  3. Participate in meetings assigned by the District Attorney and work at the discretion and will of the District Attorney.
Working Conditions

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional periods of high intensity during trial preparation and testimony. The normal work schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with exact schedules assigned by management.
