About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various types of commercial, real estate, and construction contracts, including design-build, construction management, and general contracting agreements.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to the construction industry.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to legal matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience with public sector or public infrastructure/construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiating skills, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
