We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation Services to join our team at Elderwood at Williamsville. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the rehabilitation department staff, including therapists, therapy assistants, and rehabilitation aides.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to integrate rehabilitation goals into the comprehensive care plan.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and practice acts.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clinical caseload at a minimum of 35% productivity.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist/Physical Therapist/Speech Language Pathologist with a baccalaureate degree.
  • State-specific license to practice required.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Experience in the geriatric field of Occupational/Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology preferable.
  • Current, valid CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience with computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office preferred.
