Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of housekeeping supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that supplies are used efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff on best practices, new procedures, and equipment usage.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently around the hotel.
