Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physiologic health status, identify potential problems, and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans, coordinate with other healthcare team members, and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure effective care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications safely and accurately, and educate patients and families on medication management.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • Certifications: BCLS, preferred.
