Job Summary:

The Board Repair & Test Specialist will utilize advanced equipment and software to execute support tasks. This role requires adherence to production control material management work procedures and policies as defined by the Quality and Reliability Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Board assembly programming and functional test execution.
  • Failed board circuit troubleshooting, repair, and associated data collection/reporting.
  • Participation in functional verification/acceptance of board & subassembly test fixtures.
  • Sustaining maintenance & calibration of manufacturing test fixtures.
  • Recommendation of manufacturing test fixture improvements driving yield improvement.
  • Identification & communication of negative yield and repair action trends requiring analysis.
  • Adherence to production material control and disposition methods, policies, and practices.
  • Participation in new product development to define, plan, detail project execution actions.
  • Product failure analysis including circuit troubleshooting.
  • Maintenance of expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and effective identification and communication of problem areas.
  • Timely completion of tasks to ensure customer needs are fulfilled, deadlines are met, and productivity goals are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of work experience with product repair/service, complex electronic products (field or factory).
  • Advanced skill in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Advanced skill in performing electromechanical system troubleshooting and repair to subassembly and component level.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task across a variety of repair jobs.
