About the Role

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers based in Singapore and Australia. Your expertise will be essential in designing and executing an engineering strategy in partnership with senior technical and business leaders. Additionally, you will oversee the delivery and overall health of the Core Banking domain, including multiple squads covering core client ledger infrastructure, transaction orchestration capability, and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers
  • Design and execute an engineering strategy in partnership with senior technical and business leaders
  • Oversee the delivery and overall health of the Core Banking domain
  • Develop and grow the team through effective mentoring and coaching
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer who meets the following requirements:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on solving availability and consistency challenges across mission-critical, distributed systems
  • 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team of developers
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts (ledger, financial transactions) and experience working in a financial domain
  • Experience with backend technologies, preferably Java or Kotlin, Spring/Spring Boot
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
