Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and advancing your career in healthcare? We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Good Shepherd Home Care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing services in the home environment, utilizing a holistic person-centered approach.
  • Administer medications according to the plan of care.
  • Ensure accurate charting and documentation is completed on a daily basis.
  • Direct, supervise, and teach assigned personnel according to the plan of care.
  • Work with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure a continuity of care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all fire, safety, and weather procedures.
  • Document accurate start/stop times, mileage, incident reports, and other documentation delegated by Good Shepherd Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a Practical Nurse currently licensed in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must have a current Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification.
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Prefer at least one (1) year LPN experience in home care or equivalent experience.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and attitudes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate professional judgments.
  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
