Job Title: Site Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Manager Customer Support

Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

This position serves as the primary point of contact between customers, management, and on-site service personnel for installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and customer training issues. The Site Coordinator takes ownership of issues and drives them to resolution in a timely manner, operating independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Management: Manage customer activities, supervise, coordinate, schedule, train, motivate, and guide other Fields Service Engineers.
  2. Complex Planning: Work on a wide variety of complex planning activities and special projects where customer equipment performance is key to contractual obligations and/or project deadlines.
  3. Customer Support: Assist Customer Support Management and Regional Sales Managers by understanding and communicating customer initiatives and ensuring timely closure of customer requirements.
  4. Technical Support: Instruct customers in the complete operation and maintenance of equipment, including identifying and repairing equipment-related process problems.
  5. Project Coordination: Participate in internal meetings to facilitate the coordination of important issues including spare parts, warranty, and daily/weekly priorities.
  6. Reporting: Retrieve, compile, and report equipment performance indicators to both customer and company Management.
  7. Communication: Keep Management informed of all tool down situations.
  8. Technical Presentations: Present and implement EVG technologies and solutions to customers.
  9. Issue Resolution: Coordinate technical resources to track and close customer issues.
  10. Reporting and Presentations: Present and explain reports, results, and solutions to customers.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Solve performance/operational issues to improve customer efficiency.
  12. Recruitment: Assist in recruiting potential employees for customer site.
  13. Project Management: Oversees a robust Project Management process and delivery timetables to keep projects on schedule.
  14. Travel: Must be able to travel domestically and internationally overnight, as needed, up to 30% of the time. Must possess a valid passport.
  15. Vehicle Operations: This position requires the use of EVG hired vehicles on EVG business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license, and have acceptable driving privileges.
  16. Additional Duties: Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of direct experience with EVG equipment or working in a high volume manufacturing environment or a minimum of six (6) years of experience with capital equipment/facilities engineering, or field operations within the MEMS or Semiconductor industries.
  3. Management Experience: Proven background in management/supervision or the ability to demonstrate supervisory skills in leading the efforts of technical service personnel.
  4. Customer Skills: Excellent customer skillset which includes communication, priority setting, influencing, and conflict resolution.
  5. Problem-Solving: Self-driven with ability to prioritize work and accomplish tasks quickly with good problem-solving skills.
  6. Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented.
  7. Communication: Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives.
Physical Demands:
  1. Physical Activity: While performing duties of this job, individual is regularly required to stand, sit, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity required.
  2. Cleanroom Work: Ability to wear proper cleanroom attire and work inside the fab/cleanroom up to 75% of the time.
