Structures Fabricator

Wipaire is seeking an experienced Structures Fabricator to join our team. As a Structures Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and altering sheet metal and structural components in compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and airworthiness requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Fabricate, install, and alter sheet metal and structural components in compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and airworthiness requirements.
- Collaborate with the inspection department to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly signed off daily on repair station discrepancy sheets and checklists.
- Read and interpret manufacturers' and STC holder's manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of altering, repairing or replacing aircraft or components.
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Strong aluminum structures experience required.
- Expertise in working with hand tools, sheet metal shop tools, and common metal shop tasks.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and follow specifications as defined by drawings or instructions.
- Ability to meet FAA regulatory and safety requirements in all aspects of the work.
- Comply with drug testing requirements in compliance with federal regulations.
- Must be able to use hand tools, including wrenches, hammers, power tools, and other tools used in testing aircraft and parts.
- Must have all required tools designated on the Wipaire minimum required tool list by date noted.
- Must comply with Wipaire FOD prevention plan.
- Ability to travel nationally and potentially internationally, as needed and directed by management.
