As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for maintaining established fits within the same bodies through measuring garments, logging in all information related to the garment, and growing/maintaining the block library.
Key Responsibilities- Proficient knowledge of patterns and how to relate this to fit and comment assessment
- Ability to accurately spec garments
- Strong attention to detail and extensive knowledge with inner components
- Ability to multi-task with effective organizational skills
- Collaborate with Design and corresponding teams to determine fit and priorities to meet timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills while able to take direction
- Bachalors or Associates Degree in related field (Technical Design, Design, Pattern Making, Merchandising) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in related field (Technical Design, Pattern Making or Design)
- Proficient in Excel/Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Previous training/experience with industry-relevant software, such as web-based t/p systems
- Basic hands-on knowledge of sewing and/or basic Gerber knowledge
