About the Feed Quality Team
The Feed Quality team is dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment on TikTok, particularly for younger audiences. Our mission is to encourage creators to produce high-quality content while enhancing user satisfaction. We collaborate closely with the recommendation and personalization teams to tailor the feed to diverse interests, aligning with TikTok's overarching goal of inspiring creativity and joy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee product operations within the TikTok Content Ecosystem Feed Safety team, possessing a deep understanding of content and associated policies.
- Identify potential ecosystem challenges and work with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows, including issue identification, data analysis, model development, and strategy evaluation.
- Comprehend the philosophy and processes behind content recommendation systems, assisting algorithm teams and data scientists in refining models and optimizing product strategies.
- Collaborate with diverse teams across Product, Policy, Algorithm, Trust and Safety, and R&D to enhance the efficiency of product strategy iterations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product management or operations.
- Ability to grasp the needs of content consumers, creators, and a diverse user base.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams, demonstrating responsibility and persistence in problem-solving.
- Proficient in data analysis with strong logical reasoning abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Genuine passion for content products; experience in content understanding, policy design, and ecological governance is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
