Job Overview:
As a Senior Analyst for Agency Relations, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of tax filings and resolving notices with governmental tax agencies. You will collaborate with the Tax Filing Shared Services team to address escalations and respond to inquiries from clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide education and expertise to clients regarding payroll tax filing and notice resolution.
2. Conduct timely research on compliance and regulatory matters.
3. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and communicate these to management.
4. Regularly meet with the Operations Services Manager to report on metrics and operational challenges.
5. Assist in the onboarding of new clients.
6. Oversee delivery operations, including managing Tax Filing suppliers.
7. Compile, analyze, and report on operational metrics.
8. Utilize tax knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.
9. Handle calculations for penalties and interest, as well as abatement letter requests.
10. Research and resolve payroll tax notices promptly, including requests for abatement and root cause analysis.
11. Mentor and support team members.
12. Manage relationships with Tax Filing suppliers to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
13. Approve checklists and manage the checklist queue.
14. Coordinate testing for updated interfaces.
15. Conduct variance analysis when issues require escalation.
16. Communicate effectively with clients and internal partners regarding ongoing operations and tax-related problem-solving.
17. Demonstrate the ability to work under tight deadlines.
18. Apply payroll tax knowledge to notice resolution and process improvements.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax filing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- At least 2 years of experience in Payroll Tax Filing.
- Minimum of 2 years of client interaction and management experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlook-ups, and macro development.
- 2+ years of experience with tax filing software is required.
- Master Tax experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with ADP Smart Compliance is desirable.
