Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement prevention services on a variety of topics, including substance abuse, mental health, bullying, and suicide prevention.
  • Train staff on prevention and education services, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality support to our clients.
  • Remain current on prevention and education standards, ensuring our program meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Identify and assess the needs of our clients, utilizing supportive educational methods to provide tailored support.
  • Collect, track, and evaluate program data to ensure fidelity and service quality.
  • Recruit community groups, schools, and other organizations to participate in prevention services.
Requirements
  • ICDCA certification with experience required.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience as allowed/required by regulatory bodies.
  • Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist preferred.
