About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Tenet Healthcare. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
  • Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors
  • Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
  • Set up equipment and acquire images as per script
  • Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologists
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
  • Provide post-care instructions to patients
  • Participate in process improvement activities
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • 1+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
