Responsibilities- Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
- Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors
- Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
- Set up equipment and acquire images as per script
- Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologists
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
- Provide post-care instructions to patients
- Participate in process improvement activities
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
- 1+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
