We are currently looking for a Service Technician for Agricultural Equipment to enhance our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf machinery, including established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
- Responsible for disassembling, assembling, and repairing machinery components.
- Completes all service assignments as directed by the Service Manager.
- Documents all work performed on repair orders with necessary details.
- Communicates any additional repairs needed for equipment safety to the Service Manager.
- Participates in all required training programs.
- Tracks time and materials utilized for all work tasks.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Reports any issues related to tools, equipment, or vehicles.
- Adheres to safety regulations consistently.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in service repairs.
- Ability to accurately document diagnoses and work completed on repair orders.
- Proficient understanding of engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Capable of utilizing computers and diagnostic tools effectively.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical manuals and instructions.
- Aptitude for performing basic repairs and maintenance using specialized tools following Technical Manual procedures.
- Strong communication skills with customers.
- Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Experience with forklift operations is preferred.
- Must possess a personal set of tools for the role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Engagement in various physical movements.
- Visual acuity for working with computers and detailed tasks.
- Periodic driving, both short and long distances.
- Dexterity for using standard tools and office equipment.
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels.
