Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and checking for potential interactions.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication inventory.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
