Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new prospects and engage with current farmers to boost seed sales and exceed sales objectives. Manage sales operations to meet profit margin goals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by supervising product delivery accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales of exclusive products.
  • Provide counsel to farmers on agricultural issues and recommend suitable solutions to address challenges. Resolve concerns related to unsatisfactory product performance.
  • Conduct initial credit assessments of customers to evaluate credit risks. Provide essential information to the Credit Manager for establishing credit limits.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable from customers.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably hold a university degree; alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of agricultural experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.
  • At least 2 years of experience applying standard methods, practices, and procedures within the agriculture sector, with knowledge of agricultural chemicals.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • A background in sales is beneficial.
