Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Sickle Cell Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner, you will provide exceptional patient care to individuals with sickle cell disease, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical patient care to patients with sickle cell disease, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in sickle cell disease management.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with patients with sickle cell disease, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
