Job Title: Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team at Capital Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma surgery and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide surgical and non-surgical care to complex orthopedic trauma patients, including those with pelvic fractures, complex intra-articular fractures, and bone defect surgery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with osteomyelitis, non-unions, and other complex pathologies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in the development of quality metrics and programs to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide training and education to medical residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic trauma surgery and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with experience in trauma surgery.
  • Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Traumatology or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to patients in the Bristol-Myer Squibb Trauma Center and the General Emergency Department at Capital Health Regional Medical Center and Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell.
