Job Summary

As a Product Control Analyst at Symmetry Energy Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for coordinating customer information data, automated natural gas contracts/transactions, and business system management for the Sales Team, Operation Support, and Gas Operations. Your goal will be to ensure that the transaction process is efficient, operates with effective internal controls, and provides services when needed to each respective department.

Essential Functions
  1. Generate all contract documents for the Sales Team and Business Region, including base agreements, index and fixed price transactions, name changes, assignments, and minor contract amendments across multiple markets.
  2. Coordinate new and terminated account activity and communication between the Sales Team and Gas Scheduling/Operations, verifying contracts are in place and systems are up to date.
  3. Reconcile issues with contracts, operations support, and gas supply/scheduling, acting as an overall database expert in areas such as metered usage, pricing, contracts, and invoicing.
  4. Participate in project teams involved in report creation and development, testing, and implementation of automated systems, reengineering of processes, or implementation of new requirements.
  5. Serve as a liaison to verify customer/contract process flow of new customers from startup to termination.
  6. Ensure financial hedges are executed profitably, working with applicable internal departments to ensure accurate system pricing inputs, efficient and accurate transaction execution through wholesale group, and timely communication of transaction details to contract, trading, risk, and accounting functions.
  7. Review and distribute account and contract data through reports to the Sales Team for timely renewal of contracts.
  8. Apply knowledge of deal structure to appropriately create and maintain transactions in applicable systems (Salesforce and OpenLink Endur experience a plus).
  9. Obtain or provide contract documents to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  10. Participate in periodic data review to confirm system data integrity.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business from an accredited college or university, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent or related knowledge, such as two years of college and two additional years of related experience or two years of professional-level work in accounting, business, and/or finance.

Able to demonstrate and apply comprehensive industry knowledge and skills, including process automation options, legal aspects of contracting, contract types, and suitability. Exposure to best practice contracting procedures.

Able to use communication and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly, effectively, timely, and persuasively. Able to exercise discretion, tact, and good judgment in dealing with co-workers, clients, vendors, and the public.

Able to cultivate relationships and collaborate across boundaries and share information proactively to achieve goals while being fair to others. Able to negotiate skillfully to resolve differences effectively while maintaining relationships.

Able to work well with a variety of personality types. Able to foster and participate successfully in a team-based environment to accomplish assignments and produce results through others while maintaining a high level of morale.

Competent in operating office equipment, including but not limited to telephones, mobile phones, photocopiers, scanners, and calculators. Able to reach, grasp, and manipulate items necessary to perform job tasks.

Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time as required by job responsibilities. Proficient in speaking, reading, and comprehending the English language.

Able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Able to work in a fast-paced office environment with a high-volume workload, including the possibility of working beyond standard hours and on nights/weekends to meet deadlines.

Able to work indoors, in an office environment, regardless of whether it is an open office, cubicle, or private office.

Able to travel occasionally, possibly overnight, and to attend meetings and conferences, when required.
