We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at McKesson. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center's electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Electrical Support: Provide electrical support for all facility systems and equipment, including conveyors, A-Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other automated technologies.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Demonstrate skills in all phases of facility maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting, and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Leadership and Training: Lead and train other facilities assistants, and communicate effectively with vendors and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of related experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Critical Skills: Experience with troubleshooting control systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, and excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Education: Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the NEC, light electrical construction experience, Windows XP/Windows 7, and work order experience.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead, communicate, and motivate team members, and communicate effectively with contractors and other stakeholders.
