Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages.
- Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists, while directing and guiding OR technicians and other personnel to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient unit maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a continuum of care and work with colleagues to provide continuous, high-quality patient care.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services to stay up-to-date on best practices and contribute to the hospital's quality improvement initiatives.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
