Job Title: Hospice Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team at Cody Regional Health.

Job Summary

The Hospice Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role requires strong assessment, planning, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Wyoming
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
