Job Summary

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists play a crucial role in the diagnostic process, utilizing radiofrequencies and magnetic fields to produce high-quality images for medical professionals to interpret.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring accurate identification and proper positioning.
  • Operate MRI equipment, adjusting technical factors to optimize image quality and patient safety.
  • Acquire and analyze data, collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Document patient information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices in MRI technology.
Requirements
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
  • Graduation from a specialty training program in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
