Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) instructor to join our team at Southeast New Mexico College. As a CNA instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students in the CNA program.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

  • Deliver classroom instruction that supports the learning outcomes of the CNA courses;
  • Must be willing to teach weekends and evenings as assigned;
  • Evaluate student performance and instructional methods using the college's established system of assessment;
  • Holds regular office hours in accordance with the policies established in the Faculty Manual;
  • Designs curriculum embracing diversity in all forms to foster talent in students while modeling inclusive teaching strategies with an understanding of the sociocultural issues of traditionally underrepresented groups;
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active and collaborative learning, student effort, academic challenge, student and faculty interaction, and support for learners.
