Job Description:

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The successful candidate will deliver curriculum, provide instruction, and perform student-learning assessments. This position requires teaching weekends and evenings as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching CNA courses and be able to design curriculum embracing diversity in all forms. They must hold regular office hours, evaluate student performance, and use technology to assist in communication with students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate Degree of Nursing">
• Licensed Allied Health Professional in good standing">
• Minimum 2 years of experience in associated field">
• Current New Mexico License or compact state license eligibility">
• Maintaining licensure during employment is required">
• 1 year LTC setting experience and experience teaching adults or training nurse aides">
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers">

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on qualifications. Part-time employees who work an average of 30 hours per week over the course of a year receive benefits on a pro-rated basis.
