Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Veracity. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for the CT scan, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring technical quality of the scan.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, performing quality assurance on CT equipment.
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Take emergency calls within the department and may be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)) in computed tomography.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hospital experience.
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.
